The 39th Association is made up of veterans of the 39th Transport/Troop Carrier Squadron, U.S. Army Air Corp; the 39th Troop Carrier/Tactical Airlift Squadron, USAF; and past and present members of the 39th Airlift Squadron, USAF. Our annual reunions are always special. We met in Dayton OH for our 2011 reunion and had a wonderful time - catching up with old friends, sightseeing, enjoying a lovely banquet. The hard-working reunion committee did an outstanding job to make this a very special reunion! Read more about it in the Reunion News section. Photos will also be posted as they become available. Plans are underway now for the 2012 reunion in Colorado Springs! We'll keep you posted as details are finalized.

The official emblem of the 39th, a winged covered wagon, has been in use from October 27, 1942, to the present time. The 39th Airlift Squadron is using the same emblem today at Dyess Air Force Base, Abilene, Texas.
